Nice milling work. It looks like you might be able to mill an entire gearbox! That would help replication no end.
I like your nutjob design, too. It looks like a good alternative - it might have some nice advantages.
Thanks. This actually wasn't my best effort. While I'm very hopeful about the Nutjob design there is still a lot of checking, testing and robustness exercises to do on it before we can afford to get very excited.
Get more sleep, please. Rather than stressing yourself out on reprap take a day or two for rest and then return when your body energy is restored. I know your work here is important but will be for not if you become ill or waste time in dead-ends brought on by fatigue. Our mental abilities are very dependent on good rest as many studies have proven.
Forest. You could probably mill out a mold or mold set and use the stove top route to turn out gears.
